Chamber music by Shostakovich, Mozart and Richard Strauss and texts by the author Andrea Tompa will be performed by the composer in his own performance on 26 October in the Pannon Philharmonic’s concert entitled Transfiguration.
The audience of the concert in memory of the deceased will be invited to a panel discussion entitled The Art of Mourning at 6.30 pm, where Orsolya Graf, a specialist in mourning methods at PFZ, will be in conversation with writer Andrea Tompa and violinist Dr. Noémi Fenyősiné Bartha.
It is a tradition that the musicians will welcome the audience to a candle-lighting ceremony before the concert and during the intermission on the steps in front of the Kodály Centre from 18.00. The chamber symphony concert, which starts at 19.00, is also the opening concert of the Musica Sacra and the Artists’ Touring series.
