In addition to the faculty stands, the University of Pécs (PTE) will also be hosting lectures and workshops on 27 October at the University of Pécs’ (PTE) Culture Fest career guidance event.
At the Expo Center in Pécs, anyone can get to know the ten faculties of PTE, various university departments, gather valuable information from PTE’s partners and hear all the important information needed for a successful admission. Get first-hand information about the changes to PTE admissions in 2024.
As you know, next year the familiar points system for admissions will be changed, so universities will be able to decide for themselves which institutional points – previously extra points – they will award to applicants. Universities will also be able to decide how much extra credit or certificates will be worth, and even choose which subjects will be taken into account for the calculation of points. At PTE’s Career Choice Festival, all faculties will provide information on how they will calculate their scores in 2024.
At the event, you will not only find information at the stands, but also a number of lectures, workshops and advice sessions to help you find out more about your studies. In addition to university faculties and organisations, exhibitors will include city institutions and the university’s business partners.
Potential students are shown career paths by professionals to make sure they really apply for a course that interests them. During the day, Pécs students will tell the stories of their own career paths, who have achieved great success in their fields.
