It’s much more fun and enjoyable to make your own advent calendar than to buy a commercially available advent calendar filled with chocolate, isn’t it? You can make one for your family, friends, partner and children. Pécs and the few hundred forints shops, such as ecofamily or Euroshop Center, also offer the opportunity to buy the necessary equipment cheaply:
Tweezers, half a pair of socks, envelopes. More costly but also more useful are decorative ribbons, twine, a few sheets of patterned cardboard, coloured clips, etc.
1. Tweezers and socks
Christmas socks hung up on a string with numbered tweezers, filled with sweets.
2.Advent envelope
Envelopes of different sizes numbered from 1 to 24, arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree. Use double-sided glue to stick them on the wall of the children’s room, living room or door. The only downside is that they can only hold small gifts.
3. Use your old boxes
Depending on the size of the gifts you want to put inside, you can use anything from old matchboxes to shoeboxes. Once you’ve decided what you want to put inside, carefully wrap the boxes with different coloured wrapping materials.
4.Shoulder tree advent
Hang black advent bags on a hanger with surprises for the rebellious ages inside.
5.Advent with branches
Colourful advent pockets look gorgeous even when they function on a tree branch hanging on a wall.

You can choose any of the above and instead of sweets, you can send small, personal messages to others, or photos or even poems to add to the festive atmosphere.
